 | SOCAL MTN BIKE LEAGUE MTG: OCTOBER 3, 2010 (From Zac Griffin) Hello To All,
Thank you all for attending the SO CAL H/S Mnt Bike Summer Outreach, July 6th meeting, regarding Kern County's inaugural season in the SoCal Interscholastic Cycling League. The meeting was a great success, and we are excited about beginning the process of bringing mountain bike racing to Kern County at the high school level. We are very pleased to have seen the amount of support and interest throughout the county and the number of people like you who are willing to make this happen. The time has come to announce your level of participation and support in this new program. Coaches need to begin the process of certification, parents and racers need to begin to get ready for the season, and there is much to do for the rest of us to help get things in order for our first year of mountain biking in the SoCal League. We thank you for your support and are looking forward to the exciting opportunities this is going to present to our local youth.
We are ready to start our club and create our kits!
OUR NEXT MEETING WILL BE, Sun OCTOBER 3RD @ 3PM, @ Bike Bakersfield's Office,1708 Chester Ave. Bakersfield 93301
Please e-mail me back at zac@bikebakersfield.org, or call me at (661)578-2072, with your name, contact information, and your level of participation (coach, ride leader, sponsor, volunteer, parent, student/racer). Also, feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have regarding our participation in the SoCal League.
