Club Announcement - 7/10/14

Trail Notice:

Riders, please be aware of the new section of barbed wire fence that was recently put up on the East side of Rattlesnake. The new section starts at the bottom of the hill near the bend on the bike path and continues up the hill along Rattlesnake, past the entrance to Sand Canyon. Use extreme caution when you are crossing Rattlesnake, not only for road bike traffic, but for the new fence. If you are aware of any new fences being put up in our area, feel free to share it with us so everyone can be on the lookout and have a safe ride.

Ride Notice:

Our weekend rides are growing, especially the Sunday morning ride! With more people coming out we are seeing a larger diversity in riding skills. Everyone is out there to have a good time in the dirt, including you, so please use your best judgment at the beginning of the ride to determine if we will need to split the group up into two or more groups based on skill level. If groups needs to split off from the main pack in the middle of a ride, please let the ride leader know so they can keep the ride going without having to double back and look for riders who have broken off. During all of our rides, there is usually an alternate route to get the same place the group is going, if you chose to take on a section that requires much more skill, please announce where you are going so the person behind you knows what to expect and give them time to opt out of the trickier stuff. Keeping other riders safe will help keep them coming out.

Thank you everyone for continuing to ride with us and make our rides awesome!
